On July 26, 2024, join us for an artist reception celebrating our exhibiting artists Germane Barnes and Christopher Mitchell. This reception will take place in our Paradise Courtyard.
Germane Barnes’ Play-House pays homage to the definitive shotgun house style of home and serves as a site of play and exploration as part of MOCA’s Welcome to the Paradise series.
Christopher Mitchell’s Les Sirènes activates MOCA’s fountain on the plaza with life sized mermaids that connect the community to Haitian mythology and folklore, and is part of MOCA’s Art on the Plaza series.
