Ekphrastic poetry offers the opportunity to imagine and reflect on art through vivid and descriptive language. In this month’s Reciprocal Ekphrastic workshop, artist, curator, preparator and educator Khaulah Naima Nuruddin guides us in this relationship between words and imagery through the work of Manuel Mathieu.
Khaulah’s practice involves discovering and exploring pathways through which people might access space that has been historically denied to them, or even abandon assigned spaces. Join us in this intimate and thoughtful exploration of our ongoing exhibition and develop tools for thinking and talking about art.
