Inspired by Say It With Me (Dilo conmigo) by Nancy S. Torres, this gentle bilingual story-and-artmaking session invites young children and caregivers to explore loving words, sounds, and gestures in English and Spanish. After participating in a call-and-response reading, each family creates a small “Words of Love” handprint card featuring their child’s handprint, simple collage shapes, and one affirming phrase to say together at home. Families will take home a copy of the book, courtesy of The Books and Books Literary Foundation.
